Personal Data
We collect and process your personal data as appropriate, as follows:
- Contact information: first name, last name, email address, phone number, mailing address—so that we can contact you and deliver the products and services you have ordered or provide you with a personalized offer;
- Billing information: first name, last name, mailing address, email address, phone number—to issue and send the tax invoice;
- Automatically collected data: IP address, browser type, pages visited, time spent on the site—to improve the site’s functionality and user experience, as well as to analyze any security incidents.
- Data you provide when applying for a job or an internship, either on your own initiative or in response to a job posting.
Legal Basis
The processing of personal data is based on the following legal grounds:
- Performance of a contract: to deliver the products and services you have ordered or the offers you have requested;
- Performance of a contract: for the purpose of employment or an internship;
- Your consent: to send newsletters and/or periodic alerts via email;
- Legitimate interest: to improve the functioning of the website and the user experience, as well as to analyze any security incidents.
Data Retention Period
Personal data is retained for a limited period, as follows:
- Contact and billing information is retained for the time necessary to issue invoices and deliver products, as well as for the statutory retention period for accounting documents, which is 5 years from the date the financial statements for the relevant year are filed;
- Emails sent to I.B. Cargo – one year. The content of messages processed using artificial intelligence is processed and anonymized during the learning process;
- Data collected automatically through server logs is retained for a maximum period of 6 months, except in cases where it is necessary for the analysis of security incidents and must be retained as evidence;
- Data you submit as part of a job application or internship application, whether unsolicited or in response to a job posting, is retained for between 6 months and one year, depending on how well your profile matches the job requirements.
Data Privacy
I.B. Cargo appreciates the trust you place in us by browsing our website, writing to us, or placing orders online or via email. We therefore wish to assure you that we will not provide, sell, or disclose our database containing your personal data to any third party.
Personal information regarding customers and potential customers may also be provided to the General Prosecutor’s Office, the Police, the courts, and other authorized state bodies, based on and within the limits of legal provisions and in response to specific requests.
In accordance with the requirements of the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (EU) 2016/679, I.B. Cargo is obligated to process the personal data you provide to us about yourself, a family member, or another person securely and solely for the specified purposes.
The operator processes this personal data exclusively for the purpose for which it was collected, namely the transport and delivery of goods. The retention period is 5 years for tax documents and 1 year for all other data. The data may be included in backups created for security purposes and to ensure service continuity. These backups are typically deleted annually.

If the transaction involves a legal entity other than I.B. Cargo, the collected data will also be shared with that legal entity for the purposes mentioned above.
You are required to provide the requested data, as it is necessary for creating the invoice and subsequently processing orders. Your refusal will result in the cancellation of the order. The recorded information is intended for use by the operator for the purpose of delivering the purchased services and is provided solely by you.
Where necessary, we will outsource certain tasks to other companies that assist with our services on our behalf, under data processing agreements. For example, we may provide personal data to agents, contractors, or authorized partners for the hosting of our databases, our website, data processing services, or to send you the information you have requested.

Job Applications
If you send us your resume unsolicited or in response to a job posting, we will store and review your information to determine whether your profile matches the job requirements. If there is a match, a representative from our company will contact you to discuss the possibility of working together. If no collaboration is established, the information is manually deleted periodically between six months and one year. There is a possibility that the data may be saved as part of a backup, but it is no longer processed. The purpose of the backup is to restore data in the event of a technical incident; no information from a backup is processed in any other way. These backups are manually deleted after a maximum of one year.

You have the right to access your data, the right to correct your data, the right not to be subject to an automated decision, and the right to seek legal redress. You also have the right to object to the processing of your personal data and to request the erasure of your data.
If any of your data is incorrect, please inform us as soon as possible.
