Job Summary:
This position is focused both on providing first-level, front-line communication with clients to meet customer service and company requirements, and optimal handling of ongoing transports in a timely and accurate manner.
Status: Full-time, on-site daily presence; hybrid way of working possible under certain conditions and terms, after full independent handling of work and integration within the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Daily management and coordination of FCL shipments.
- Track and trace all shipments and maintain permanent communication with clients and carriers.
- Proactively identify problems and swiftly implement the appropriate solution. • Work closely with carriers to ensure efficient and effective execution of freight forwarding processes.
- Re-route freight, as needed to meet demands and minimize costs.
- Provide support as needed & interact with other departments to respond to their needs.
- Provide regular written status reports for management and clients.
Qualifications:
- Minimum experience of 6 months in handling sea freight.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective and professional communication etiquette.
- Ability to react and perform well under tight deadlines.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
- Team-player, ambitious, organized, proactive.
- Numbers and figures oriented.
