Job Summary:

This position is responsible for quoting customers and agents in a timely and accurate manner, for communicating and establishing excellent relationships with air carriers, agents, and colleagues to ensure the best possible and most competitive rates whilst providing with operational excellence, high productivity, and customer satisfaction.

Status: Full-time, initial on-site presence; hybrid way of working (3 days in the office) after an accommodation period of 3 – 6 months.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate all Air Import/Export Freight activities, including quotations, bookings, documentation, data entry, shipment track and trace, billing, arranging deliveries.
  • Issue bills and invoices to customers and agents and organize documentation and properly keep all records updated.
  • Communicate daily with airlines, agents, truckers, customers, customs brokers, sales & business support representatives, and overseas colleagues.
  • Comply with all Romanian customs, IATA and Transport RO regulations and requirements.
  • Advise clients concerning terms of delivery & payment, Air insurance & services, transport alternatives, etc.
  • Handle requirements for dangerous or temperature-controlled goods and ensure to have proper export documents, accreditations, permits, licenses, etc.
  • Invoicing and posting of costs on individual file level and ensure that there are no losses on files report.
  • Follow up quotation with the clients.
  • Ensure all documentation, such as invoices, AWB and other related documents for outbound /inbound shipments is completed accurately and forwarded to the appropriate party.


  • Experience in Air Freight Forwarding – minimum 1 year.
  • Ability to react and perform well under tight deadlines.
  • Local knowledge of Air product, processes, and requirements.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective communication skills and communication professional etiquette.
